OLED PLED
TECHNOLOGY
The most simple model of an OLED (Organic Light Emitting
Diode) is composed of 3 layers. A glass (or film) coated
with Indium-Zinn-Oxide is used as the transparent means
or first electrode. On this a thin organic layer is
applied (only 100 nm) which is then covered by a second
(metal) electrode.
